As part of the Business Hub Initiative’s continued expansion and ecosystem strengthening, Bashar Thafer joins as Business Hub Manager at the Business Hub in Zarqa, supporting micro and small enterprises within one of Jordan’s most active business environments.
In his role, Bashar leads the delivery of core Business Hub services, including coworking spaces, meeting facilities, and tailored business support, while enabling connections between business owners, markets, and strategic opportunities. His role directly contributes to the initiative’s broader objective: building inclusive, results-driven ecosystems that enable businesses to grow, collaborate, and compete more effectively.
“Building strong business communities starts with empowering entrepreneurs, creating real opportunities, and enabling sustainable growth.”
Launched on July 24, 2024, the Business Hub in Zarqa operates within the scope of the Informal Livelihoods Advancement Activity (Iqlaa), funded by the U.S. Government and led by Mercy Corps through its implementation partner, Migrate. It is part of a nationwide network of six Business Hubs established through Iqlaa across Amman, Jerash, Zarqa, Karak, Salt, and Aqaba, supporting home-based, micro, and small enterprises through accessible, integrated services.
